About DORS

Overview

DORS volunteers help keep us humming with their time and talent! Last year, volunteers contributed 24,015 hours to DORS.

Volunteers in DORS headquarters, field offices, WTC and the Disability Determination Services provide office support, read and tape written materials for non-readers and assist with orientation.

  In Focus
Volunteering with DORS!
Helen Mandris (l) has been a volunteer in the WTC Gift Shop for 23 years.
A female gift shop volunteer helps a woman with her purchase.

At the Workforce & Technology Center (WTC), volunteers garden, operate the gift shop and assist instructors with paperwork.

Selected college interns can earn experience to pursue careers in vocational rehabilitation.
