Disability Support Services

Students with disabilities may need accommodations in the classroom or in accessing various campus facilities and activities.  Every college campus has an office of disability support services to assist in arranging for those accommodations.

It is a good idea to connect with this office early to be sure accommodations are in place before your classes start.  Keep in mind that this will require that you share information with that office about your disability and will need to provide them with documentation to support the accommodations you are requesting.  Also, the accommodations approved in a college setting may be different from what you received in high school.

Communication with the disability support staff about your needs is crucial to receiving accommodations that are right for you.
