Community Rehabilitation Programs

A young man and his supervisor outside a grocery store.

DORS purchases career assessment, assistive technology, job training, job coaching, job placement and other services from over 100 organizations throughout Maryland.  DORS calls these "community rehabilitation programs."  This partnership allows DORS to offer greater choice and flexibility to people with disabilities.  It also gives individuals an opportunity to take part in rehabilitation programs close to home.

A list of these community rehabilitation programs includes locations and Web site links.  To view a summary of an individual program’s services and outcomes, select the organization’s name.

DORS works closely with these programs to ensure high quality. Collaborative staff training takes place throughout the year.
