Students glimpse jobs of the past at the Baltimore Museum of Industry

Forty-seven Baltimore County students from Towson, Parkville, Owings Mills and Pikesville high schools gathered at the Baltimore Museum of Industry to get a unique perspective on jobs of Baltimore’s past and present.

Students first toured the museum to learn about yesterday’s jobs in manufacturing, garment making, transportation, food processing and more. Later, a four-member employer panel talked with them about what the future may hold in several local business areas.
