Many participants prefer to look for a job on their own. However, DORS rehabilitation specialists can help develop job-seeking skills or refer students to other agencies that provide these services. This assistance often includes application and resume completion, interview training and organizing a job search.
Once hired, the DORS counselor provides follow-up to the consumer for at least 90 days.
DORS has ongoing working relationships with many of Maryland’s businesses. DORS counselors can match qualified applicants to job openings in these businesses or organizations.
