Physical Therapy

Physical therapists treat injury and disease by mechanical means such as heat, light, exercise and massage. Physical therapists can play an important in preparing individuals to make decisions about work. Treatment can be provided on a short-term basis to affect positive employment outcomes. Examples include:

All individuals receiving physical therapy services should wear comfortable clothes that allow for bending, stooping, reaching, standing and walking. Shoes should be comfortable enough to complete a mile walk.
