The Universal Workplace

"The Universal Workplace" is a demonstration area, located at the Workforce & Technology Center, that provides working examples of how a typical office environment can be adapted for people with physical, sensory or cognitive limitations.

Most office environments can be adapted so that persons with severe physical or sensory impairments can work competitively alongside of non-disabled peers.

These ergonomically designed workstations show how people with disabilities can access mainstream business applications and electronic information resources.
