The WTC Employee Development Services (EDS) Program is an 10-week program that develops work-related attitudes, behaviors and values.

EDS has two tracks: 1) EDS Stand Alone and
2) EDS with Training.

EDS Stand Alone

Consumers may participate in the EDS program while experiencing real work at a DORS worksite or in a partner community agency. This approach develops work skills while in a realistic setting.

• Accounting
• Security
• Warehouse/Supply
• Housekeeping
• Clerical
• Maintenance
• Post Office
• Computer/network technician
• Food service

While on the job, participants are exposed to the expectations and demands of the world of work.

The work experience is supplemented by training modules, individualized counseling and peer group sessions.

EDS with Training

Consumers may also take part in EDS while attending a WTC vocational training program. They also take part in training modules, individualized counseling and peer group sessions.

To take part in the EDS program, participants must be eligible for DORS services and be referred by their DORS counselor.  For more information, contact your local DORS office.
