Residential Services

WTC Residential Dorm Advisor

WTC has dormitories so that people can stay at WTC because of distance or other considerations. (WTC is closed on weekends.)

WTC's Residential Services are managed by a registered nurse and supervised by a vocational rehabilitation supervisor. Residential services are staffed 24 hours per day with vocational rehabilitation specialists, residential advisors and direct care aides. These staff provide direct supervision and assistance to all consumers who stay at the Center.

WTC residents may choose from a variety of evening activity programs such as support groups, recreation, personal development workshops and computer instruction.

The General Dormitory

This dormitory is designed for individuals 18 years of age or older who are independent in activities of daily living and able to function in a community setting.

The Supported Residence Dormitory

WTC also has a Supported Residence Dormitory (SRD) for individuals who require a highly structured and supervised residential program.

The SRD is also for individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

The SRD is mandatory for consumers 17 years or younger who request to stay at WTC. Those who reside here will take part in evening programs that focus on living independently.
