Deaf Pre-Employment Services

A man and woman sign across a table. Nearby, a television shows an ASL video.

Deaf pre-employment services help students who are deaf or hard of hearing find success in WTC programs.

One-to-one support—An instructor will meet with you during the week to provide training in language skills and to help you understand training materials. Tutoring in ASL conversational skills is also available.

Workshops—WTC staff arrange periodic workshops on topics such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), employer expectations, working with interpreters and getting along with supervisors and co-workers.
