Step 7: Case Record Closure

A DORS counselor speaks with a man in front of the van he uses for business

DORS closes a case record in the vocational rehabilitation program when you have received the services you need and worked successfully for at least 90 days.

If certain additional services are needed after closure to help you keep your job, DORS can provide "post-employment" services. However, if comprehensive services are needed, you must apply again.

The record will also be closed if you are unable to complete the program. If services are needed in the future, you may re-apply for services.
