Highlights for 2011

  • Monday Night Welcome Reception, featuring refreshments and a chance to vist with friends, colleagues and exhibitors in a relaxed party atmosphere

  • Tuesday Keynote:
     John Robinson, disability advocate and author of "Get Off Your Knees: A Story of Faith, Courage and Determination" 

  • Wednesday Keynote:
    Performance by the Hugh Gregory Gallagher Motivational Theatre of "The R Word" by Ryan Schube, a playwright with Tourette Syndrome 

  • 24 Training Breakout Sessions on disability, rehabilitation, ethics and personal development (8 CRCs available)

Vendors & Exhibitors
Many rehabilitation vendors will be showcasing the latest in rehabilitation goods and services in the Exhibit Hall.  Join them for the Welcome Reception on Monday evening, and for continental breakfast and breaks on Tuesday and Wednesday .  If you would like to exhibit at the conference, contact the Exhibits Committee.

Awards
MRA and DORS will honor esteemed colleagues and partners in rehabilitation at an awards luncheon on Wednesday.  Deadline for submitting your award nominations is September 16, 2011.  Anyone who nominates is eligible for fabulous prizes!

Hotel
Rooms at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel have been blocked at a special conference rate of $89 per night.  This rate expires September 16, 2011.

Accommodations/Accessibility
If you will need reasonable accommodations at the conference, including wheelchair-accessible hotel rooms, please register for the Conference by September 16, 2011 so the Accessibility Committee can make the arrangements.
