The DDS Medical Relations Office helps physicians, medical records professionals, school educators, and disability advocacy groups learn more about disability determination.
The MRO staff helps doctors and hospitals respond quickly to requests for medical records. The staff also works to help advocacy groups (such as cancer support groups) and professional organizations increase their understanding of the documentation required in the claims process.
The MRO staff also reaches out to parents and teachers who wish to learn more about SSI benefits, and how going to work or turning age 18 affects these benefits.
