DORS seeks partner agencies to provide Summer Paid Work Experiences for Students with Disabilities

DORS is developing summer employment programs for high school students with disabilities and has issued a Request for Proposals for partners in Prince George’s and Wicomico Counties for the summer of 2012. The submission deadline for Proposals is April 18, 2012.

Maryland Youth Leadership Forum

The Maryland Youth Leadership Forum is a program for rising high school juniors and seniors with disabilities that provides a variety of support and informational activities, kicking off with a week-long summer event held on a university campus where participants learn about disability history, rights and advocacy. Deadline for applications for the 2012 program is February 29th.
