Maryland Statewide Independent Living Council, Inc.
The Maryland Statewide Independent Living Council (MSILC) is a governor-appointed advisory, advocacy, and planning council that promotes independent living services across the state of Maryland. The Council is composed of individuals with disabilities, representatives of advocacy groups and service providers from public and private agencies.
These are the Council's goals for people with disabilities:
Maryland's Governor appoints Council members to three-year terms. Members should attend scheduled meetings and participate actively on the Council.
