April is National Autism Awareness Month & April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day. The symbol of the Autism Society is a multicolor jigsaw puzzle ribbon. The design reflects the mystery and complexity of Autism. The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of people and families living with this disorder. The brightness of the ribbon signals hope.  The Autism SocietyConsumers Starting Work in March: 187. So far in 2014: 528.

Pathways is an educational support program for post-secondary students who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Pathways is at the Essex, Catonsville, and Dundalk campuses of the Community College of Baltimore County - and NOW - at HOWARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE!

180 Medical Announces Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities of the Spine
To be eligible, students must be: Attending a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program full time in the fall and under a physician's care for a spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, or neurogenic bladder. Applications accepted January 1 to June 1, 2014. To apply and for complete rules, click here.
